Imports of alcohol are highly taxable and the shipment of pharmaceutical products is prohibited. Dry sausages are subject to import restrictions. With regard to alcohol, a Power of Attorney may be requested from the consignee to authorize a freight forwarder to act on his behalf to clear the goods through customs. Dry sausage, meat products and milk powder are subject to import restrictions.
We advise our customers to avoid express carriers and to use Colissimo instead. In our experience, Colissimo is often exempt from customs duties, being considered a local carrier. This can help avoid potential complications at customs.

The importer or customer must check the import conditions of products purchased from local customs (restrictions, prohibition, taxes).
